American Inn-Alexander City

The beds and sheets were very clean and smelled good. There were some areas that needed a little more attention such as microwave and fridge. The floors are so nice, I hate carpet in a room and they have installed new vinyl floors which were nice. Waffles were fantastic for breakfast and juice was delicious and cold. Employees were friendly and helpful. Overall fantastic stay

Waffles were the only thing available. The waffles were fresh but I wanted more protein. However we enjoyed the fresh bananas

Price, cleanliness, comfort, location were all excellent for our needs.

One of our party was called home on an emergency. While Booking.com made it difficult and complicated to cancel the reservation the folks at the hotel went out of their way to make sure that we didn’t pay for the room we couldn’t use. Couldn’t have asked for a more friendly and accommodating crew!
